IT has
created a list of supported desktop hardware and
software for campus technology users. This list
of software and hardware will be used by IT
Helpdesk personnel to guide their responses to
support requests. These standards will help to
preserve and maximize the usability and
supportability of the hardware and software that
is already widely used on campus. They are also
a key factor in enabling IT to provide users
with quality, cost-effective service.
